Miss Kitsap Fair & Stampede 2024 - Kaitlyn McKinsey

Born and raised in Poulsbo, WA by her parents Matt and Kari McKinsey. She is the oldest of three children and comes from a multi-generational military family, and supports the men and women who actively serve and are veterans of our military. Kaitlyn has been riding horses since she was 4 years old. She was an avid competitor in WAHSET (Washington Highschool Equestrian Team), NJRA (Northwest Jr. Rodeo Association). In her free time, she enjoys barrel racing and breakaway jackpots. This all wouldn’t be possible without her herd of amazing horses. Her main mount this year is the infamous 16-year-old AQHA bay gelding named “Winken Romeo” aka Bo, Her two back up horses, 9 year old AQHA sorrel mare named “Twistin Doc Miss” aka Nellie and 15 year old APHA palomino gelding named “BR Murphy’s Law” aka Joey will be assisting Bo in carrying Kaitlyn throughout her year and Miss Kitsap Fair and Stampede. Kaitlyn is also training her 2-year-old AQHA colt named “You Go Glen Coco” aka Hugo with the goal of racing him his futurity year. Kaitlyn works as a para-educator in the preschool classroom at Wolfle Elementary and has found her passion with plans of obtaining her teaching degree. While traveling all through-out Washington State during Kaitlyn’s year her passion is also represented through her title with her goal of educating the younger generations about agriculture and the western way of life. She truly believes in treating the world around her with kindness and chooses to represent that in sign off as Miss Kitsap Fair and Stampede to remind others to choose kindness as well. Jr. Miss Kitsap Fair & Stampede 2024 - Kaia Whisnant

Coming from Bremerton, WA, 12-year-old cowgirl, Kaia Whisnant. At home, she enjoys the company of her mom, dad, sister, two dogs, and 14 chickens. Kaia cherishes her visits to Nana and Papa's farm, where her western adventures come to life. Her favorite activities include riding her beloved horse, Sanora, and racing her Raptor 250cc quad with QuadCross NW. With the heart of a true cowgirl, Kaia also finds immense joy in rodeo queening. In 2019, she proudly held the title of Katie Kitsap and is now thrilled to represent as Junior Miss Kitsap Fair and Stampede. Whether she's in the saddle, on her quad, or donning her rodeo queen attire, Kaia's adventurous spirit and love for the western lifestyle shine through in all she does. Miss Katie Kitsap 2024 - Harper Wisniewski

Harper calls Port Orchard, WA, home and is a proud 3rd generation rodeo cowgirl. She is the oldest daughter of Cami Hart and Jacob Wisniewski. Harper is no stranger to the Thunderbird Rodeo Arena with her family being involved in the Kitsap Stampede since 1991. When Harper is not making appearances as Miss Katie Kitsap you can find her riding her horse Edgar, training her dog Frank, riding snowmobiles and quads, fishing, and hanging out with her brother and cousins. Harper aspires to be a Veterinarian one day. During her year Harper hopes to show other little girls that they too can be a Rodeo Queen with hard work and determination. Harper’s year wouldn’t be possible without all of her generous sponsors that help her get down the road!
