How do I get to the Kitsap Fairgrounds during fair?
You can access the fairgrounds in three ways:
From the south, via Nels Nelson Rd off of Bucklin Hill Rd
From the west on Fairgrounds Rd off of HWY 303
From the north on Stampede Blvd off of Tracyton Blvd
You cannot access the parking lots by coming east on Fairgrounds Rd. off of Tracyton Blvd Fairgrounds Rd is blocked off for the fair.
Where can I park?
The main parking is in front of the Kitsap Pavilion and the dirt lot to the north.
Overflow parking is across Nels Nelson Rd at Silver Spurs for all five days.
Overflow parking is also available at Olympic High School Thursday after 8pm and all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
What items are prohibited on the fairgrounds?
No weapons, such as, but not limited to, guns, knives, tasers, or pepper spray.
No skateboards, bicycles, scooters, or roller skates (wheeled shoes).
No alcohol, marijuana, or drugs.
No pets.
No drones without prior approval of KFSA staff.
Lost and Found / Lost Child
Lost and Found is located at the Fair Office - the two-story, white building located at the beginning of the barn row. Found items can be turned in there and, if you lost an item, check in with us to see if it has been turned in.
If you have a lost child or are a child who has lost their parents, please stop by our office for assistance. You may also stop by the Sheriff’s tents located on the south side of the Pavilion.
Where can I get a refund for my tickets?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets cannot be exchanged for another date.
Photo and likeness disclaimer
The Kitsap Fair & Stampede Association (KFSA) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event held in conjunction with the Kitsap Fair & Stampede, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. KFSA may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by KFSA including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, social media, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc
To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.
By participating in a KFSA event, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify KFS from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.
Any person or organization not affiliated with KFS may not use, copy, alter or modify KFS photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from KFSA.
Can I rent a wheelchair or stroll at the fair?
We do not rent wheelchairs, powered chairs, or strollers.
We recommend you bring these items from home if needed.
We do offer a shuttle around the fairgrounds for those that may need assistance getting from one point to another.
Are pets allowed on the fairgrounds during the fair?
Pets are not allowed on the grounds or at the arena during the Fair. However, service animals are welcome. Service animals are trained to work and perform a specific task for persons with disabilities. Comfort and emotional support animals ARE NOT service animals.
Notice to ticket buyers
The Kitsap Fair & Stampede would like to remind our fairgoers of the importance of purchasing your tickets directly from this website or at the fair gates.
If you purchase your ticket from a secondary vendor or reseller, you may pay substantially more than buying directly from the Fair. We do not guarantee any tickets purchased from unauthorized sellers. This means if a ticket is counterfeit or has been resold multiple times, you may end up with a fake ticket or a barcode that has already been used, therefore invalidating the ticket for you.
The Fair does not honor, replace, or refund invalid tickets.
Is there ADA Seating available for the concerts and arena events?
The concerts on the main stage are in the center of the fairgrounds. The stage is in a grassy area, which is mostly flat.
The arena has ADA seating available in both the uncovered and covered grandstands. The VIP areas are accessible by wheelchair.
Is smoking allowed on the fairgrounds?
There is NO smoking or vaping allowed on the Kitsap Fairgrounds and the Thunderbird Arena.
Are ATMs available during the fair?
Yes, there are ATM machines available in various locations on the grounds, including at the Thunderbird Arena.
What day is the carnival wristband day?
Wristbands will be sold on Sunday, August 30, only.
Wristbands are $50 each and allow the wearer to ride unlimited rides until 5pm.
Wristbands can only be purchased at the carnival ticket booths within the carnival; they cannot be purchased at the fair office.
